We are excited to share with you the success of the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) training workshop in Advances in Ultrasound hosted by Lusaka Apex Medical University in conjunction with IBADAT International University and the University of Lahore. The workshop was held at the Cancer Diseases Hospital in Lusaka, Zambia from the 15th to the 17th of March 2023.
The workshop was a resounding success, with participants from various medical fields in attendance. The program was designed to equip medical professionals with up-to-date knowledge and skills in ultrasound technology, which is critical in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.
We were honored to have as our Guest Speaker, Prof Dr. Syed Amir Gilani, a renowned expert in the field of ultrasound technology. Prof Gilani's presentation was insightful and inspiring, and he shared his vast knowledge and experience with the attendees. His presentation covered topics such as the basics of ultrasound technology, new advances in ultrasound imaging, and the use of ultrasound in specific medical fields.
The workshop also featured hands-on practical sessions, where attendees had the opportunity to practice their skills on state-of-the-art ultrasound machines. The practical sessions were facilitated by experienced professionals, who provided guidance and support to the attendees.
The feedback from the attendees was overwhelmingly positive, with many commending the organizers for the excellent program and the opportunity to learn from a distinguished expert in the field. The attendees also appreciated the chance to network with other professionals and to exchange ideas and experiences.
