The Lusaka Apex Medical University is excited to introduce a number of new programs in the Faculty of Premedical Sciences. The following are the new programs that have been introduced.

Teaching methodology.

The program will start in February 2021. Any person who has a Certificate, Diploma, Degree, Masters or PhD in any field and wants to become a teacher or lecturer should enroll for this course. The course has a taught component and practical component. Teaching Methodology will commence in February 2021 at Chalala Campus in Lusaka.

A levels (Distance)

The program has been designed for in-service members of staff and other busy people who are unable to join our full time classes because of a number of reasons (e.g. difficulties in processing leave from work place). All modules will be made available to the students at the start of the semester, students can consult lecturers any time during the semester. All practical work will be done physically at LAMU before exams are written. The program will start in February 2021.

Foundation Programs

The curriculum introduces school leavers, undergraduate and post graduate students to Research Methodology, Basic Statistics, Information and Communication Technology and English communication skills. The first intake starts on 12th October 2020, classes run from 17:30 -20:00hrs every day at Chalala Campus. Second intake will commence in November 2021.
