LAMU LIBRARY RECIEVES DONATION


We are excited to announce that the Lusaka Apex Medical University Library received a donation of 193 Radiology Books, 213 CDs, 1 (one) DVD and 1 (one) Integrated TV/DVD Cassette recorder from Mr. Ayub, who donated in honor of his late brother Dr. Muhammad Umer (MHSRIP). Dr. Mahammad Umer was a Zambian who studied his medical degree in India and his medical internship at the University Teaching Hospital (UTH) in the early 1970. He later specialized in Radiology, ultra sound and CT specialty in 1982 at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center. He returned to Zambia and started his own practice (Diagnostic Centre- Provident Street Lusaka) until his retirement. He passed on in England on the 15th of March 2022.
